Laberinto Coffee
Coffee is a very important part of the Costa Rican culture. Currently, the design language used for Costa Rican coffee products have strong traditional roots. With this project, the aim is to express the unique characteristics of Laberinto’s coffee through a contemporary approach.
The goal is to create a visual identity that represents the eight different coffee zones of Costa Rica where illustration is used as the principal instrument to emphasize the unique natural characteristics of each zone.
Laberinto is a coffee brand focused on providing eight exclusive coffees through a set of eight illustrations that represent the different natural environments in which each type of coffee is grown. The chosen colors communicate the differences in flavor, giving it a broad but warm color palette. The result is a combination of tropical elements with clean typography that provides balance and harmony to the brand.
